Strict Face
Strict Face is an Adelaide producer and DJ who has been making club music on Kaurna Country since the early 2010s. He first emerged during instrumental grime's second wave, when Mumdance and Mr. Mitch released his early work on their Different Circles and Gobstopper labels, and a 2016 tour of the UK and Europe marked him as one to watch. A long-running member of Nina Las Vegas' NLV Records, he has moved from pop and R&B flirtations to a heady, no-holds-barred club sound, returning to the label in 2026 with the Age of Burnout EP. His tracks have won support from selectors including Skrillex, Jamz Supernova and DJ Plead, and he has shared DJ booths with Ben UFO, Eris Drew and Special Request. At home he launched the bi-monthly club night Wavey Season and has been part of the team behind Adelaide community radio station duck!, alongside running his own SLG International and Heuristic labels.
