GLOSS is an Adelaide dance music series and mix platform run by Zoe G, created to centre FLINTA artists across club lineups, guest mixes and collaborative events. Based on Kaurna Yarta, the project gives female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender and agender selectors more space behind the decks while keeping the music broad and adventurous. Its parties move through house, techno, progressive, trance, acid, bass and other club sounds, with local artists appearing alongside interstate guests. GLOSS has worked with crews and spaces including Ancient World, Happy Station and The Manager’s Office, while its SoundCloud guest-mix series extends the idea beyond the dancefloor, documenting a growing range of selectors. Rather than being tied to one genre, GLOSS is built around representation, good curation and welcoming club spaces, connecting Adelaide’s FLINTA DJ community through parties, mixes and shared lineups.
