Ritual Rhythm

Ritual Rhythm is a Melbourne/Naarm event series centred on FLINTA selectors, queer community and inclusive dancefloors. Co-founded by Vanessa, the project brings together local DJs across house, electro, bass, club music and other left-field electronic sounds, favouring variety and personality over a fixed genre. Connection is central to the series, with events designed as welcoming spaces for people to dance, meet and hear artists who are often underrepresented on conventional club lineups. Ritual Rhythm has moved between late-night club sessions and daytime parties, while continuing to spotlight local talent and encourage new selectors to get involved. At its core, Ritual Rhythm is about community-led club culture: diverse lineups, adventurous music and dancefloors built around respect, openness and shared experience.
