Elsie aka Elsie Craig

Elsie is the DJ alias of Elsie Craig, an Adelaide selector and organiser who has spent more than half a decade shaping South Australia’s underground electronic scene. Her sets move through house, techno, acid and left-field club music, guided by the room rather than a narrow genre brief. Behind the decks, she is known for playful turns, rhythmic tension and selections grounded in Adelaide’s party culture. Craig is closely involved with Small City Systems and has helped run projects including Terrifying Discovery, Moon Jelly and Bloom, spanning camping festivals, clubs and pop-up raves. She has appeared with Subvert, Inside Out, Sanctuary and duck! Radio, while a mix for Night Shift Audio documents her approach outside the club. In 2026, Elsie joined the Unsound Adelaide closing party at Ancient World alongside local and international artists. Her work as DJ and organiser places care, curiosity and local participation at the centre, connecting sets with the culture that supports them.
