Code618 aka Simon Little

Code618 is the vinyl-only alias of Adelaide DJ Simon Little, a selector with 30 years in techno, deep house and electronic music. His connection to the sound began around 1991–92 through late-night radio, underground clubs and cassette mixes, with inspiration coming from Detroit techno, European labels and Adelaide’s Juice Records. Code618’s sets favour deeper shades of dance music, weaving ambient textures, acid, electro, breakbeat and introspective techno into journeys. Every mix is recorded in one take using vinyl, allowing mood and instinct to shape the direction. His guest sessions have appeared through Avenue Red, Healing House, Esencia, Yax Invites, Visitors and the RecThera podcast. Live appearances include Adelaide venues such as Sugar and Ancient World, plus Melbourne dates at Revolver Upstairs and an all-night back-to-back session at Coil. Alongside DJing, Little experiments with DAWless hardware production while continuing to dig for overlooked records and Australian music.
