Huggy Bear Sound System aka Duo of Mark Yusef Wilson and Mark Mackay

Huggy Bear Sound System is the Adelaide DJ partnership of Mark Yusef Wilson and Mark 'Huggy' Mackay, also known behind the decks as Yusef Wilson III and Yo Daddy Mac. Closely associated with Cargo ago go, the duo built their reputation through weekly record selections spanning Latin, soul, funk and acid jazz. Their Saturday sessions were part of the club's broad musical identity, with crate-digging and a love of groove at the centre of their approach. That history continues through Cargo reunions and archived mixes shared with the original club community. The pair joined the strictly vinyl DJ lineup for Cargo ago go's 2026 celebration at the Cloisters, alongside HMC, Agent 86, Code and Troy J Been. Their ongoing Adelaide appearances also include Lumen Bar and afternoon sessions at Ferg's Stepney.
