Gencia aka Nick Gencarelli

Gencia is Nick Gencarelli, an Adelaide DJ, collector and broadcaster, formerly known as Fantastic Black Plastic, with a love of soulful, under-appreciated sounds from around the world. In his hometown he ran Endless Grooves, his independent music agency and radio show, and held a residency at Sugar, one of Australia's longest-running nightclubs, helping shape some of the city's best-loved parties along the way. He has played Section 8 in Melbourne, Club 77 in Sydney and Si Paradiso in Perth, along with Sanctuary, RCC and the Adelaide Festival, and supported Mr Scruff, Jayda G, Nu Genea, Chanti Celeste, CC:DISCO! and Folamour. A stint in London saw him behind the counter at Phonica Records and playing Corsica Studios, Number 90 and The Jago. His selections have aired on Rinse FM, Hope Street Radio, duck! and Closer.
