Breaking Even aka Hunter Brown

Breaking Even is the DJ alias of Hunter Brown, an Adelaide selector whose sets run from deep house and 90s house through tech house, breakbeat, jungle and footwork. Ancient World has been a recurring stage, with recorded sets from the venue in February 2025 and a warm-up ahead of Moon Jelly that December, while the Moon Jelly '25 set itself pushed further into breaks, jungle and footwork. Alongside mixes such as the Synths N Stuff series, Breaking Even began sharing original productions in 2026, with tracks including Astro Dub and Chalk Walk and a run of dub demos on SoundCloud.
