Lenin aka Lenin Paunovic

Lenin is Lenin Paunovic, an Adelaide DJ whose recorded trail is short but spread across rather more than a decade. The oldest upload is a corner store shop mix from 2014, made for a room that was not a club at all. A Lenin P Mix followed the year after, then a long silence, then a live set from Lush festival in April 2022. Three uploads across eight years is not a release schedule, but the SoundCloud account itself dates back a good deal further than any of them, which tells you the DJing predates the posting by some margin. More recently he turned up on Paranoia 5 at Cosmos Club, two rooms of underground techno and hypnotic rhythms powered by Wild Sound System, with Justin Muscat brought down from Sydney and a local card including Nenad, Yax, Drew, Mikayla, Will Fall, Mental Availability and Joseppi. Online he goes by Lennnin, with the extra letters doing the work of a surname.
