Mikayla aka Mikayla Kazemi

Mikayla Kazemi is an Adelaide DJ and dancefloor advocate associated with the Cellular Response party series. Her sets move through rolling house, minimal techno, acid and hypnotic club music, favouring long blends, low-slung grooves and patient changes in pressure. She has appeared across Adelaide’s party circuit, including Lush with selector Janeret, Fluorescent Fantasy at Sugar and Paranoia in the Park. Mikayla also played the 2024–25 Day Moves New Year festival at Home of Plenty, joining a program spanning deep house and energetic techno. Through Cellular Response, she has shared line-ups with Belgian artist Walrus, Cruise, Drew, Lirium, Trebek and Yax at outdoor and inner-city events. Her April 2026 appearance at Paranoia 5 placed her in Cosmos Club’s vinyl room alongside Drew, Lenin and Nenad, while an interstate booking took her to Coil in Melbourne. Mikayla favours progression over rapid genre changes, treating each set as a rolling journey shaped by the room and the dancers.
