Pierre Honey — Adelaide DJ

Pierre Honey aka Jack Heaney

Pierre Honey is the DJ alias of Jack Heaney, an Adelaide selector whose sets move between house, disco, funk, soul, breaks, electro and tougher club sounds. Comfortable with vinyl and late-night basement bookings, he favours characterful records, loose grooves and patient transitions over a fixed formula. Heaney played Sidebyside Festival’s 2022 Park Lands edition alongside international artists, and joined the team behind its 2024 event. Other appearances include Small City Systems’ Sugar Park Pres party, Sanctuary, Lush, Smokelovers and an all-night set for In the Cage at Nevermind. Pierre Honey has recorded mixes for Lush and Sugar Recordings, including a back-to-back session with Alley O, and co-hosted Raw Like Sushi on Three D Radio. His range extends to public vinyl events: at Wauwi Nights in Light Square he played disco, funk, soul and 1970s–80s selections. Recent bills pair him with Code618 and Club Sandwich, reflecting his place within Adelaide’s independent dance circuit.
