Musch is the DJ alias of Adelaide artist, designer and event-maker David Musch. He began DJing at high school, before widening his practice into lighting, audiovisual art, stage design, installations and event production. Behind the decks, Musch draws from house, disco, breaks, garage, electro and techno, selecting with the same attention to atmosphere and movement that defines his visual work. He is part of Company Works, the South Australian team behind Sidebyside Festival, Sanctuary and p_l_a_c_e_s, appearing across these projects as both performer and creative contributor. Musch has also played Adelaide clubs including Electric Circus, sharing the booth with collaborator Bobby Padron. Through his former studio Mapped, his credits included Neon Forest at RCC, Archie's Clubhouse, Illuminate Adelaide and visual production for Motez at WOMADelaide. His work treats music, light, sculpture and space as parts of one experience, making his DJ sets connected to the worlds he helps build.
