PLACES is an Adelaide dance-music series created by DJs and producers Bobby Padron and Musch, the team behind Sanctuary and Sidebyside Festival. Presented through Company Works, the concept turns temporary or undisclosed CBD spaces into one-day club environments, with locations often revealed to ticket holders shortly before doors. Across its events, PLACES has focused on house, tech house, techno and electro, pairing interstate guests with a carefully selected Adelaide support cast. Artists featured by the series include Dean Turnley, Jordan Brando and Carla Martinez, alongside locals such as Bobby Padron, Musch, La Lani, Mel Lake, Elliott, XXXquisite and Zoe G. Extended daytime-to-night programming, restrained line-ups and site-led production give each edition the feel of a standalone gathering rather than a regular club night. Built around the shared experience, PLACES reflects Company Works’ approach to event design: music, setting and crowd treated as equal parts of the party.
