Aaronac aka Aaron Byrne

Aaronac is the Adelaide house alias of Aaron Byrne, a veteran selector and one of the original DJs associated with Electric Circus. During the club’s formative years, his sets helped establish its house identity, pairing deep grooves, vocal records and late-night energy with an instinct for pacing the basement from opening tracks through to lights-on. A devoted record collector, Aaronac approaches DJing through track knowledge and long-form flow rather than short bursts of familiar hits. His connection to Electric Circus has continued across different eras of the Crippen Place venue, including a 2026 return alongside Sam Walker for an all-night house journey. Away from nightlife, Aaronac has shared his experience through community DJ workshops, working as a qualified trainer with experience in the disability field. Whether guiding a workshop or returning to a familiar booth, Aaronac remains centred on house music, inclusive participation and carefully chosen records.
