Sidebyside

Sidebyside is an open-air electronic music and arts festival produced by Company Works, a South Australian design and production company that is also home to Sanctuary and PLACES. Running since 2019 in the Adelaide Parklands on Kaurna Country, it was built to take dance music out of the club and into the open air, connecting the local scene with international talent. Co-directed by David Musch, it has grown over six years from grassroots beginnings into a two-stage festival. Past lineups have brought DJ Seinfeld, Roza Terenzi, Harrison BDP, Suze Ijó, Alex Kassian and RONA. to Tulya Wardli Helen Mayo Park alongside Adelaide's own selectors. Art carries equal weight, with sculptural installations, lighting and collaborations with local artists and fabricators, and a real commitment to keeping the parklands clean. The 2026 edition was its first sellout, and the seventh edition returns on 30 January 2027.
