Eluize aka Emma Louise Sainsbury

Eluize is Emma Louise Sainsbury, an Australian producer, DJ and vocalist based in Berlin. A classically trained instrumentalist before she came to dance music, she builds sets and records much the same way: brisk house given a prog edge and steeped in acid, with ethereal breaks and her own vocals threaded through. In 2016 she founded Night Tide, a label run across Berlin and Adelaide, followed by sister imprint Bermuda Series for electronic music produced by womxn. She built a studio in Kreuzberg in 2017 and a second at Marino in South Australia in 2023, and since 2020 has run a coaching initiative for femme identifying, trans and gender nonconforming artists. Her debut album Confide landed on Craigie Knowes in 2019, followed by Gone and most recently Believe. EPs have come through Unknown to the Unknown, Motorik!, Lost Palms and Funnuvojere. She is a regular at ://about blank, Watergate and Melbourne's Revolver Upstairs, and has played Nation of Gondwana and Pikes Ibiza.
