Rhythmic aka Karim Pain

Rhythmic is the DJ alias of Adelaide selector Karim Pain, part of the newer wave of local artists moving through the city’s underground club circuit. His sets sit within the broader world of bass-heavy and contemporary electronic music, with an open approach that suits mixed lineups and smaller late-night rooms. Rhythmic has appeared at Ancient World, including fourfourfour’s 2026 event alongside Kaurset, 0800KIN, Hyperfixate and Xela Rae, a lineup built around multi-genre bass music and forward-leaning club sounds. Rather than locking himself into one narrow style, Rhythmic fits naturally into Adelaide’s increasingly fluid underground scene, where DJs move between bass, breaks, club rhythms and harder electronic edges.
