Seraph is the harder club alias of Adelaide DJ and producer Ryley Yard, who also performs as Yard. While Yard allows space for broader production work and collaborative sessions, Seraph concentrates on hard house, hardgroove and techno. His sets combine forceful percussion and fast rhythms with melodic passages, moving between pressure, atmosphere and release. Ryley has become connected with Adelaide parties and collectives including The Manager’s Office, Rectify Collective and GUAVA, while sharing mixes online. Seraph’s documented Electric Circus appearance came through a program curated by Xela Rae, alongside TK FM, Grazi, Hyperfixate and L.E.C.N.A. Built around bass, garage and 140 sounds, the booking placed his harder style within a wider club lineup rather than one narrow genre. With Yard serving as his producer-led outlet and Seraph carrying the more direct dancefloor identity, Ryley is developing two related sides of his work within Adelaide’s underground electronic community.
