L.E.C.N.A. is Ellie Goldfinch, a DJ based on Kaurna land. The name is written like an acronym but is not one, and the pronunciation guide she offers is short and to the point: it's ellie sienna. Radio is where most of the recorded work lives. She has held a regular slot on The Bass Bin, Adelaide's longest running dubstep and bass music show on Fresh 92.7, with mixes going out in December, January and February. That is close to a monthly cadence on a show anchored by Gunda G, and it puts her in front of an audience well beyond whatever room she happens to be playing that particular week. In the clubs, Xela Rae picked her for a curated takeover at Electric Circus, a bass driven and garage inflected late night session built on dark sub frequencies and 140, sharing the bill with TK FM, Seraph, Grazi and Hyperfixate, on a lineup handpicked to keep the floor moving right through until dawn.
