Forbidden Forest — Adelaide event promoter

Forbidden Forest

Forbidden Forest is an Adelaide events collective and record label devoted to deep, dark and bass-driven electronic music. Curated by producer Augustus Walker, better known as Silicon Slave, it creates spaces for underground sounds spanning dubstep, drum & bass, techno, psytrance, glitch, house and experimental bass. Its events range from intimate city parties to outdoor gatherings, including Hades Hula House and a four-day New Year celebration in the South Australian wilderness built around music, art, live performance, workshops, market stalls and self-expression. Forbidden Forest also champions original music through release parties and its Bandcamp catalogue, featuring Silicon Slave’s Gelatinous, Enlil’s Will-O-Wisp, Xenura’s Two Worlds and Krux’s Twisted. Whether transforming a club into a concrete-jungle fantasy or gathering dancers beneath the trees, Forbidden Forest connects Adelaide’s bass community through adventurous programming, emerging artists and an inclusive DIY spirit.
