SA Water Bois aka Trio of Cueslash, Rylenol, and Zeph
SA Water Bois are an Adelaide bass-music crew bringing a playful identity and heavyweight sound to clubs, outdoor gatherings and festival dance floors. Their sets centre on dubstep and riddim, moving through deep low-end pressure, wonky rhythms, abrasive drops and psychedelic selections. Their tongue-in-cheek slogan—“the men who stop the rain”—matches an approach that takes the music seriously without losing the fun of a shared set.
The crew became visible through South Australia’s doof circuit, with recorded appearances at Wavecult’s Imbolc gatherings in 2024 and 2025 documenting their progress behind the decks. In January 2026 they joined DubPub’s Chop Shop opening at Low Life Basement Bar, appearing on an all-Adelaide programme created to revive the city’s riddim underground. Their live recordings capture long-form selections rather than short edits, giving listeners a sense of their pacing, bass weight and preference for sounds designed for large systems and late-night crowds.
