Ricky Garcia aka Ricardo Garcia

Ricky Garcia is Ricardo Garcia, an Adelaide DJ rooted in progressive house, whose sets lean into melodic selections, rolling grooves and patient builds, with a tougher edge that reaches into bush techno, psy techno and darker club sounds. Front Room has been a key home, putting him alongside James Zabiela for a King’s Birthday marathon at Mala Mia, on its intimate Limoncello Lounge NYE at Ambra Distillery and on the bill to support Patrice Bäumel at TIA Live. He has also supported Scottish techno artist MHA IRI at TIA Live, played Faze One’s Sunset Sessions on the West Beach shoreline and Mambo Adelaide’s Project Mambo at Lion Arts Factory, and made his Doof Techno debut at its Homegrown summer series finale at Ancient World, where his progressive roots meet the darker end of the floor.
