WRM aka Daniel Watson

WRM is the DJ project of Adelaide selector Daniel Watson, an emerging name shaped through the 2026 Your Shot DJ programme. After taking part in the Adelaide showcase, Watson began carrying the project into the city’s club circuit, bringing a taste for deep, progressive electronic music and patient, journey-led programming. His approach favours rolling grooves, layered percussion and gradual shifts in mood, building momentum without rushing the room. The next chapter for WRM includes an appearance at Habitat’s first indoor event at Ancient World in September 2026. Programmed for a full night of progressive sounds, the bill places him alongside Amorositie, Floating Castle, Finlay Hamish, Ketracel, Zoe G, Kleio and Nixie—artists linked to Adelaide’s underground community. Still at an early stage, WRM is developing his identity through live sets rather than a public release catalogue, with the project’s foundations resting on progression, atmosphere and connection to the dance floor.
