DJ Husband works the techier end of hard dance out of Adelaide, drawing on hard trance, hard tech and hardstyle without ever quite settling into any one of them. Set progression is the priority: thunderous beats, rhythmic grooves, soaring melodies and body shaking basslines, arranged as a journey rather than as a run of peaks. The productions have travelled a good deal further than the local circuit. Releases have landed on Atmosphere:UK, Analogue is Dead, Digitally Infected, PHD Digital, Gearbox Digital and Friction Records, charting on each of them and picking up support from Scot Project, ASYS, Kutski, Fausto, Mark EG, Proteus, Lisa Lashes, Alex Kidd and Luca Antolini. Having established himself in the Adelaide clubs first, he has been working steadily outward to interstate and international floors since, with plenty more releases lined up behind the ones already out.
