Permanence aka Jamie S.
Also runs: Hard House Nation
Permanence is Jamie, and his own account of it is disarmingly straightforward. Two decades deep in the Adelaide hard house scene as a punter, he finally bought himself a DJ controller in 2025 and has been addicted to mixing ever since.
The promoting came almost immediately after. Realising the city was starved of dedicated hard house nights, he and a close group of mates formed Hard House Nation and launched their debut at Cosmos Club in May, with Dramatik and Pete Maxwell headlining. The response was enough that a second is already locked in for November, moving up to Surge on Hindley Street for Robbie Muir and Technikal.
The output has been prolific for someone barely a year into it. The Hoover Files has already reached a thirteenth volume, joined by Toughen Up, Hoover Power and a tribute to D-Fi, alongside live recordings taken from the debut night itself.
