Divide

Divide, stylised DIV-DE, opened on 1 October 2022 inside the Hindley Street Music Hall complex, the old HQ building. Penny Hospitality run it alongside Five Four Entertainment, Secret Sounds and Live Nation, and the design brief was drawn from international clubs rather than from local ones.
The result is a 400 capacity room built around technology: a dance floor full of lasers, interactive lighting walls, LED panels and a minimalist finish, with booth seating around the edges and an open air balcony. It was pitched squarely at house and techno from the outset.
Drum & bass has since claimed a good share of the calendar. The Collective bring most of their internationals here, Metrik, Grafix, Circadian, Andromedik, Flowidus and Pola & Bryson among them, while AirDNB and Eclipse landed Craze and Krafty Kuts, and Beats and Beyond run progressive and tech house nights until the early hours.
