Lakishow aka Shehan Lak

Lakishow is the Adelaide-based DJ project of Sri Lankan selector Shehan Lak, focused on progressive house, deep tech house and melodic techno. His sets favour patient development, detailed melodies, deep grooves and controlled shifts in intensity, linking warm progressive passages with darker club sounds. Active within Adelaide’s electronic music community, Lakishow has performed at Apollo Diaries, Mindwave and The Hive Adelaide, on lineups spanning Latin house, psytech, hypnotic techno and raw techno. His association with Beats and Beyond has placed him among the residents helping shape its progressive and underground direction. At The Hive’s second edition in February 2026, he represented Sri Lanka with an hour of deep and progressive house and tech. Lakishow publishes sets through SoundCloud, presenting a style built around careful pacing and melodic detail rather than quick-impact selections, with each mix designed to develop naturally from its opening groove to its final peak.
