Beats and Beyond

Beats & Beyond is an Adelaide underground music collective presenting progressive house, melodic techno, tech house and deeper club sounds. Active since 2024, the group builds its nights around extended musical journeys, pairing overseas guests with Sri Lankan-Australian and emerging local selectors. Its events have introduced Adelaide audiences to artists including Kryptone, Subandrio and Dimuth K, with support from Dinuka, Oshada, Hasantha, Roshen, Lakishow, Yuudee and others. Beats & Beyond has staged parties at TIA Live, Gatsby Lounge and Divide, using late-night formats and close 360-degree, boiler-room-style layouts that place the crowd around the DJ. Collaborations with Downsouth Agents and venue partners have helped the collective bring progressive touring acts to South Australia while maintaining a local focus. Through its line-ups, Beats & Beyond links Adelaide's underground house audience with the progressive music culture of Sri Lanka and the wider international scene.
