Me3ke aka Toby Meeke

Me3ke is the Adelaide DJ project of Toby Meeke, part of a newer generation of local selectors finding their place through intimate club nights and emerging electronic music lineups. His approach centres on electronic club music with an ear for tracks that work beyond obvious genre boundaries, building sets around movement, atmosphere and the flow of the room. Me3ke began appearing on Adelaide lineups during the mid-2020s, including a 2025 night at Divide alongside Citizen1 and STXRRY, bringing together local DJs in one of Hindley Street’s smaller underground spaces. Away from the booth, Toby maintains the Me3ke project through Instagram and SoundCloud, where his musical identity continues to take shape through mixes, selections and new material. Still early in its public history, Me3ke represents the grassroots side of Adelaide club culture: local artists, smaller rooms and DJs developing their sound through the city’s constantly changing electronic music circuit.
