Flip aka Jason Littler

Flip is British-born, Adelaide-based DJ and producer Jason Littler, also known as Flip “The Flipsta”, FLIP (OZ) and YannoxxX. Born in Bury, Greater Manchester, he became part of Adelaide’s developing techno and rave culture during the 1990s, bringing broad musical knowledge to its early dancefloors. His 1995 recording Live at Labyrinth captures the range of that period, moving through happy hardcore, gabber, jungle, breakbeat and hardcore, with Littler credited as writer across the release. Flip has also recorded as YannoxxX and is connected with the project Suvome, reflecting work beyond his best-known rave alias. Decades after those formative parties, he remains involved in electronic music as FLIP (OZ), with current listings placing his work in techno. Recent local appearances include old-school gatherings and the thirtieth-anniversary celebration of Smile, reconnecting him with DJs and dancers from Adelaide’s original rave generation while introducing his sound to newer audiences.
