Taruna

TÅRUNA is an Adelaide producer and DJ working across dubstep, drum and bass, experimental bass and darker electronic forms. Presented by Wavecult as a producer, mystic and shadow worker, the project connects physical club music with energetic and archetypal ideas, giving its sets a ritual-minded character. TÅRUNA has become a regular presence around Wavecult’s dark, ethereal events, appearing at Ancient World alongside Mokei, H3idrun, kTraps, Immerse, Arna and ULFA. The artist also joined the 2026 Imbolc gathering in north-east South Australia, part of a broad program spanning bass music, psychedelic sounds and underground electronics. In Adelaide, TÅRUNA appeared at the first tOASt and Jam session at Rhino Room Basement with REE-SEARCH, step, Doubtless, STATYK and DV8, a lineup centred on dubstep and drum and bass. Moving between intimate basements and outdoor gatherings, TÅRUNA brings weight, atmosphere and a strong conceptual thread to South Australia’s bass community.
