Deja Vu

Run by: Arachnid

Deja Vu Records is an Adelaide events collective and record label centred on techno, dub and low-frequency music. Its roots trace to the Vu Deja Vu parties held at Nevermind in 2024, including dates with Melbourne guests Osmosis Jones and Venda. The group describes its purpose as creating a safe space for expression, love and connection on Kaurna Country. Its programming moves through techno, dub, bass, ambient and experimental electronic sounds, with local selectors sharing bills alongside interstate and international guests. Cooper Webbe and Matt Leaf-Milham are linked to the organising team, with Alena Hohl credited on early events. In June 2026, Deja Vu presented German duo Space Drum Meditation at Ancient World. The night combined tribal rhythms, esoteric instrumentation, ambient textures and abstract techno in an immersive club setting, supported by Adelaide artists. Deja Vu places community, careful programming and lower-frequency electronic music at the centre of its events.
