Gala Room at Austral

Gala Room at Austral is a 390-capacity nightclub and event space inside The Austral Hotel at 205–207 Rundle Street, Adelaide. Set within an East End pub, it provides a self-contained late-night room for electronic music while retaining the convenience and street presence of the hotel. Its scale sits between a basement and a major venue: large enough for touring acts and a dancefloor, yet compact enough to keep the crowd close to the booth. Programming covers drum and bass, jungle, progressive house, techno, trance, hard dance and psytrance, giving the room space within Adelaide’s club circuit. Events have included Sauce Icons with Ray Keith, psytrance from Athzira and LunaRave, and progressive sounds from Audiojack and Comes in Waves. The Gala Room has hosted OverTime, reconnecting Adelaide’s after-hours crowd with DJs Dav and Lissie and MC Rudeboy. With events running until 3am, the venue suits club formats, touring guests, support lineups and promoter-led parties in the city centre.
