cu.b is an Adelaide DJ and producer working in minimal and deep house, with an ear that stretches to rominimal, micro house and the Romanian end of minimal techno. The self description is a modest one, minimal and deep house enthusiast, and the output backs it up. Releases have landed across a spread of small labels. Can You Hear That and Slinked Out both appeared on Astral Infusion, Valinor came through FMR Music, Rising Sun featured on Eleutheria's Stronghold compilation, and tomorrow's loop sits with Adelaide's own Acetic. The mix work is where the range shows. cu.b debuted on Acetic Selects with a vinyl only set at 008 and returned for 013, then recorded for Japan's accepted. label, DEEP MVMT, The Cosmic Cast and Projekt UFO, plus a run of DJ sessions filmed for Closer Record Store. Closer to home, Acetic booked cu.b for SWARM at Ancient World, a night split between wonky minimal upstairs and prog in the basement.
