Xav aka Xavier Wilson-Hall

Xav, aka Xavier Wilson-Hall, is an Adelaide DJ and producer whose work moves across techno, breaks, jungle, ambient, hip-hop and experimental electronic music. He also releases original material as odysseyodyssey, where a run of DEMOS collections and ScrapMix Vol.1 documents a broad, producer-led approach stretching from acid techno and club rhythms to atmospheric, headphone-focused pieces. Tracks such as 88 ARP ACID, MARK HAMILL (HEADRUSH) and LOVE'S PEDULUM show a project more interested in movement between styles than staying inside one genre. In Adelaide, Xav has appeared alongside Steph at Smokelovers and on Closer Record Store and Acetic's Edge Effect at Ancient World. His DJ and production work share the same restless character: rhythmic, detailed and open to both dancefloor pressure and more leftfield electronics.
