Dale Tiver is a driving force in Adelaide dance music: a promoter with a fan’s appetite for music and two decades of bringing people together around it. Through Eclipse, AirDNB and Adelaide Party Central, his work spans festival stages, clubs and long Sunday sessions. Eclipse’s We Love Sounds era brought artists including Grandmaster Flash and James Zabiela to Adelaide; later bills have paired names such as Craze and Dillinja, while One Fine Day welcomed LTJ Bukem, DRS and SpectraSoul. Behind those lineups are relationships measured in decades: Mampi Swift celebrated 20 years with Eclipse in 2025. Dale’s love of drum & bass sits alongside house, techno and hip-hop, with extended sets giving visiting artists room to tell their own musical stories. Away from the dancefloor, he restores and trades retro, Scandinavian and Chesterfield furniture.
