Tarp aka Duo

TARP is a Morphett Vale electronic project formed within Adelaide’s experimental underground by DentalJams and Ezroh, with S Arthur also named as part of the group. Its music pushes industrial techno into harsher territory, combining distorted percussion, randomised kick drums, noise and stark black-and-white imagery. TARP arrived in 2024 with the simultaneous release of TARP I and TARP II. The first contains sixteen short bursts of pummelling noise, while the second presents four longer, more club-facing industrial techno pieces. The releases received airplay on FBi Radio’s Utility Fog, taking the group’s work beyond South Australia. Live appearances have included Lost City at Lion Arts Factory, Under the CRT Glow at The Lab supporting Japanese experimental artist EYE, and bills with Voice Imitator, Messianic Gloss, Plastiq and Tjikk. Whether presented in clubs, art spaces or audio-visual installations, TARP sits between live electronics, industrial rhythm and confrontational noise.
