Sleep D aka Duo of Maryos Syawish and Corey Kikos

Sleep D is the Naarm/Melbourne duo of childhood friends Maryos Syawish and Corey Kikos, producers, DJs and live performers working across house, techno, dub, acid and ambient music. They founded Butter Sessions in 2010, first to connect with their local scene and later building it into one of Australia’s best-known independent electronic labels. Their catalogue includes releases for Butter Sessions, Incienso, Analogue Attic, Planet Euphorique and Altered States Tapes, alongside collaborations with Albrecht La’Brooy. Sleep D’s hardware-led live shows and DJ sets have taken them across Australia, Europe, Asia, the UK and United States, with appearances at Panorama Bar, Berlin Atonal, Golden Plains, Strawberry Fields and Pitch Music & Arts. Their sound joins driving rhythm and hypnotic bass with dub space, hazy ambience and flashes of rave intensity. In Adelaide, they have appeared at Ancient World and Lost City, maintaining a long connection with the city’s independent dance community.
