Soulah aka Heath Johnson

Soulah, aka Heath Johnson, is an Adelaide DJ rooted in drum & bass and the heavier side of bass music. His selections sit comfortably around DnB, dubstep and low-end club sounds, with a focus on weight, rhythm and keeping the dancefloor moving. His Adelaide appearances place him among a newer generation of selectors connected through independent bass events and small underground rooms. Rather than being tied to one narrowly defined subgenre, Soulah is best understood as a bass-focused DJ with drum & bass at the centre and room to move into neighbouring sounds. With his public history still relatively small, Soulah’s profile is developing through live sets and Adelaide’s grassroots bass community, letting the music and future bookings define the project over time.
