Sanchez

Radio: Fresh Fridays — Fridays 3:00PM - 4:00PM — on Fresh 92.7 FM

Sanchez, aka Miguel Sanchez, is an Adelaide DJ and radio presenter whose career is rooted in hip-hop and R&B. DJing since 2000, he built his early reputation through mixtapes, club sets and support appearances for artists including Grandmaster Flash, Q-Bert, Slum Village and Foreign Beggars, while also working closely with Adelaide’s own hip-hop community. Radio has been a major part of his story. After hosting The Hip-Hop Hour on 101.5FM, Sanchez became the longtime host of The Lesson on Fresh 92.7, using the show to champion new and underground hip-hop, R&B, grime and Australian artists. Today his sets retain that hip-hop foundation while opening into R&B, urban and broader club music. Through Fresh Fridays and live appearances, Sanchez remains a familiar Adelaide selector with more than two decades behind the decks.
