Geistare aka Geistare Bubenaite

Geistarė is an Adelaide singer, songwriter and rapper whose music combines alternative dance-pop with soul, electronic production, house, jazz and blues. Born in Ireland to a Lithuanian family, she moved to Australia at seven. Her catalogue includes Overthinking, Foolish, Be Alright, Goodbye and Not Enough, while Lies, first released in 2021 and revisited with producer Krunk! in 2026, pairs her soulful lead vocal with club production. Triple J Unearthed lists Geistarė across pop, dance and soul, selecting Foolish as an Artist Pick and publishing a Triple J review in 2025. That year she earned a golden ticket on Australian Idol with a performance combining soulful singing and rap, progressing into the Top 30. Alongside her original work and live singing, Geistarė has joined Adelaide lineups including Fresh 92.7's Windback Party with Yolanda Be Cool. Her work connects songwriting, performance and dance floor music under one artist identity.
