BRKLYN
260a Rundle St, Adelaide
Capacity: 110
BRKLYN opened in April 2016 above Rundle Street, on the old Soundpond Studios site. Rashaad Chenia took the Brooklyn theme literally and built an entire New York street inside the first floor venue, with functioning shopfronts running along it: a deli, a barbershop, a wine bar and a music studio. Sans-Arc Studio handled the design.
The bar sits at the end of that street under a neon LIQUOR sign, low lit and looking out over the East End. The balcony is the real draw, arguably the best view on Rundle Street, and capacity across the room is 110. It turned ten in 2026 with three days of greatest hits menus, DJs, live music, burlesque and flash tattoos.
For a cocktail bar it takes its music seriously. Front Room brought Anjunadeep's Durante onto the balcony on a Turbo Sound rig under a winter sky, Sauce ran Icons Vol 6 with Zero T over from the UK, and Bassline Market run late house sessions.
