Garfy, real name Grace, is an Adelaide DJ and organiser working at the bright, fast and playful end of hard dance. A self-described “brainrotted catgirl” with a love of hardcore, she moves through nightcore, happy hardcore, gabber and internet-fuelled edits, favouring pitched-up vocals, restless tempos and sudden turns over a fixed sound. Her visual identity draws from anime, online culture and rave humour, giving her performances a clear character without losing sight of the dancefloor. Garfy is also one of the organisers behind CORE, the Adelaide party series devoted to underground hardcore, drum and bass and gabber, where she helps shape line-ups and create space for newer local artists. Active on Adelaide bills since at least 2024, her appearances include Forbidden Forest, CORE Goes Rawr X3, 4/CORE with Melbourne’s Boxxy, H34VEN0N34RTH’s first birthday and CORE’s own first-birthday celebration. Her mixes follow the same approach: fast, cute, chaotic and proudly online.
