Psy-ence Fiction

Psy-ence Fiction was founded in 2011 by James Corbett and Adam Stapleton, best friends and the two halves of The Psy-entists. The brief has held ever since: quality psy trance for Adelaide, with the people on the floor counted as importantly as the names on the poster. The booking record is what put South Australia on the international touring map. Mad Maxx, GMS, Nikki S, Menog, Digicult, Reality Test, Infected Mushroom, Juno Reactor, Vini Vici and Grouch have all played under the banner, some of them solely for Psy-ence Fiction and others in partnership with interstate brands. The brand has since expanded into Sydney, with more territory likely in the years ahead. In September it marks fifteen years at Mala Mia with Talpa headlining, Corbett and Stapleton both playing, and Lucigen Julia alongside them. Raise the vibe is how they sign off, and they mean the social side as much as the sound.
