Rae aka Rachael

Rae is the drum and bass alias of Adelaide DJ Rachael, an emerging selector whose first public performance earned a strong result. After five weeks of training through Your Shot Australia, she debuted before a crowd at the 2026 Adelaide showcase and finished runner-up on the Sunday main stage. Her competition set combined drum and bass, jump-up and jungle, taking a punchy route that stood apart from many other DnB entries. Rae later released the 25-minute performance mix on SoundCloud, providing an early record of her mixing style and track choices. Her next confirmed appearance brings her into Adelaide’s bass circuit for DnB Friday: Volume 3 at Confession in Port Adelaide, where she will perform back-to-back with Mr.Tofu alongside Neisha, Snowh!te, MRQ and Robes. With her first competition behind her and another club date secured, Rae is building set experience while staying rooted in the fast breaks, rolling low end and playful impact of jungle, jump-up and modern drum and bass.
