Mr.Tofu aka Christopher Taylor

Mr.Tofu is the drum and bass alias of Adelaide DJ Christopher Taylor. Rather than staying within one corner of the genre, his sets move between jump-up, liquid and other shades of DnB, with the direction shaped by the room and his mood behind the decks. This approach lets him shift from melodic, rolling passages into heavier bass-led selections while keeping a dance-floor focus. Mr.Tofu has been featured by Adelaide drum and bass programs including The Ones and Twos and Amorositie, with a guest mix broadcast on Fresh 92.7 and shared through the local DNBHub network. His growing presence connects him with the city’s bass circuit, where radio sessions, guest mixes and club appearances provide space for local selectors. In September 2026 he joins Neisha, Snowh!te, MRQ, Rae and Robes for DnB Friday: Volume 3 at Confession in Port Adelaide, including a back-to-back set with Rae. Mr.Tofu’s selections favour contrast and movement, balancing liquid warmth with the direct impact of jump-up.
