Ivy aka Leah Brown

Ivy is an earlier DJ name used by Leah Claire Brown, a former Adelaide artist now based in Melbourne and performing as June. Her music draws from 1990s and early-2000s tech house and progressive house, with sets built around deep grooves, patient transitions and rolling club rhythms. Under the Ivy name, Brown appeared for Doof Techno’s Techgnosis showcase at Ancient World, joining Accent of Sound and Wyx on a program spanning bush techno, psytech, hypnotic and driving techno. That appearance connects her Adelaide history with the psychedelic side of the city’s techno community. Since relocating to Melbourne, she has continued as June, appearing on programs and making her streamed-set debut in 2025. Her current Instagram uses the June identity, while SoundCloud remains listed under Leah Claire Brown. Together, the two names trace her move from Adelaide’s underground techno circuit into a new chapter in Melbourne, while retaining the progressive and tech-house foundations of her sets.
