Pav aka Luca

PAv is Luca, an Adelaide producer whose SoundCloud reads as a snapshot of a single year rather than a whole career. Nineteen uploads, the visible ones all dating from 2020: Red Rum, Dark, Cocaine Pete, Sundown and a phonk instrumental called I Got A Bullet. Lo-fi house sitting next to phonk, made and posted in the middle of a year when nobody was playing out anywhere. Since then the account has gone quiet while the bookings have not. He is a producer first on the available evidence, with the DJ work following on behind it, and the handle he uses everywhere, pavprod, makes much the same point. April brought Sound System Sunday, when Wild Sound System hauled nineteen thousand watts of custom built rig out to the Unit Three taproom in Lonsdale for a family friendly afternoon of deep drum & bass and house. He opened a bill eight names deep, with H3idrun, Kr1spy and 020 behind him.
