Kr1spy is Kareem Abi-Farraj, and by his own account he is just a DJ in Adelaide who loves creating and mixing music for others to enjoy. The output suggests rather more focus than that lets on. Production is where most of the work has gone. Take Me Away arrived in 2025, then 2026 brought a release roughly every month: Move in March, The Lead in April, Afterglow in May, Anywhere and Stay soon after, Drown in June and Help Myself since. Seven singles inside a year is a steady rate for anyone, let alone someone working outside a label, and a dubstep remix of Savage sits alongside them as his most played track. The live and radio side runs in parallel. Fresh 92.7 had him on as guest for The Ones and Twos with Bright Eyed, and Wild Sound System put him on Sound System Sunday at Unit Three in Lonsdale, an afternoon of deep drum & bass and house pushed through nineteen thousand watts of custom built rig.
