Underground Sound
Underground Sound is an Adelaide-based events collective built by local DJs to showcase emerging talent and create high-energy electronic music experiences. While the project is not tied to one sound, its debut brought together house, techno, hard house, groove and bounce, setting the tone for a broad approach to programming. UGS focuses on carefully curated lineups, distinctive venues and giving newer artists a genuine platform to perform alongside like-minded DJs. The collective also aims to introduce audiences to fresh sounds and names within Adelaide’s electronic music scene rather than relying only on established acts. Built from the ground up by a team of local selectors, Underground Sound places equal weight on music, production and community, with the longer-term goal of developing a recognisable Adelaide platform for emerging artists and the next wave of Australian electronic talent.
